Incredible tapas, very authentic and real food based on Spanish culture. Small out of the way restaurant, excellent and seamless service from all staff. Friendly and welcoming to westerners. Food was to die for, great sized portions and real flavour. Menu in English, complimentary desserts and starters, definitely worth the visit. Don't be shy! Price was very reasonable, meal for... Lucky to get a table at shortish notice. Place was soon full after we arrived, and not surprisingly so. All types of Iberico pork on the menu (and plenty of fish too). I just had to try the Iberico pork loin served with a creamy mushroom sauce. My wife went for the Iberico ham. The meat was absolutely outstanding. So... More

Absolutely the best of the best of Malaga - plain simple brilliant cuisine; it all looks so easy and relaxed, plate after plate of basic food, cooked to perfection, following time honoured traditions. If you want to get to the heart of Spanish cuisine, start here. 100% recommended.

This is an honest restaurant with very good Tapas and regional dishes. A place where locals go for a meal. Nothing fancy but, tasty and fairly priced. Try the fresh seafood ( whatever they have on that day).

A restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere .The food was excellently cooked served by very helpful, friendly waiters .If you only want tapas you can sit at the bar .Go early as the restaurant is not large .The Monday night that we were there was full by 9 oclock so obviously has a good name !

Meson Iberico is a tapas bar with a small restaurant attached. It is packed every night, mainly with locals, who are queuing up at weekends waiting for it to open, Small wonder. The food is cheap and delicious, and the staff brilliant, although they don't speak much English. However, an English menu helps! If you want tapas, be there early, otherwise... More

We booked an evening meal in the restaurant, arriving just at the 20.30 opening time - Empty! But within 20 minutes the restaurant was 80% full and the bar was packed with locals drinking and having Tapas. We restaurant meal was very good with the exception of the cod which was a bit plain. Service was good and prices reasonable.... More

This is a small, quaint tavern, located in the renovated Soho. Although I live abroad I was born and raised in Malaga and give this Tavern a 10. The food quality and variety are exceptional. You should order the classic "sorpresas" (small bites, tosted with different options, delicious...), followed by Serrano ham, sea food or the classic potato salad (ensaladilla... More

This was our fourth visit and we come back to Malaga especially to eat here. We got here exactly when they opened if you don't, you may not get a seat. Otherwise make a reservation. Since our last visit (May) they have tntroduced swanky style menus , which does take away the mystery of deciding what to have , the... More

My friends knew this restaurant from before, and we went together. Service was friendly. Prices are not too high. The food is good and made eith local ingredients. Very authentic. They offer you profiteroles for dessert - I'm not usually a big fan but theirs are delicious.
