Had some late tapas and Sherry in the bar. Lovely place with a nice atmosphere. Javier is passionate about his Sherry and You get to taste a lot of different glasses if You share the passion. Highly recommended.

A severely good venue with exceptional owners, team and products. Well worth a visit to explore the really interesting menu's and exceptionally varied wine lists. The standard of cuisine is well above expectations and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended but do phone to book as sometimes the restaurant is not open to a little later than... More

I have been here a number of times and each time it was really good and interesting. The place is a little far from Marbella (about an hour drive) but it is certainly worth a visit. The owner is a great and fun person who supervises all the food and what is going to bee prepared for the day. It... More

Not open at 18:50 despite their Trip Advisor and Facebook pages opening hours stating it should be open=Don't drive there without first calling to check real opening hours. Obviously they did not open until 20:30, so we had to leave hungry and its not close to other good restaurants.

Every November (around 8/9/10th) Javier throws a fab party to celebrate another year of YerbaGuena (6 years now). This is now known as 'El Dia del Vaco (the day of the cow)'. The evening before they light a fire outside where they roast a full beast overnight. By lunch time the following day the meat is tender and absolutely delicious.... More

This must be our eighth visit and it is still the highlight of our visit to Spain. We still have not found a restaurant to compare especially at Javier`s reasonable prices. Four of us had a birthday bash and we asked Javier to select some special wines. The gentle oak aged Alella was brilliant. Pushing the boat out for top... More

Ate this here in May for the third time over the last few years-what a wonderful wonderful place to eat that you would never find unless someone told you about it. We had the tasting menu that was just sensational in both quality of flavour and presentation. Javier is such an amazing host with such a knowledge of wine and... More

Another wonderful, wonderful experience at YerbaGuena. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed by Javier and his team. My first drink was a great little sparkling white wine from Barbadillo - a lovely alternative to cava - and made in Andalucia too! Love it. We enjoyed excellent seasonal dishes prepared by the very talented chef Fran - with interesting... More

Could be the best restaurant we have ever been to. The tasting menu was out of this world and very good value. We went to celebrate a special occasion and returned two days later it was so good. The second time we went the tasting menu was totally different and equally as good, really impressive. Thankyou Javier and Fran

We had a very warm welcome from the owner and all the staff at Yerbaguena. This place is a labour of love and it shows. The food and drinks (sherry, wine, cocktails) were superb. The chargrilled squid and the mushroom and prawn ravioli starters were simply amazing. I cant recommend this restaurant highly enough. Don't miss it! Word of warning:... More
