My fiancé and I visited this small, intimate gem in Malaga's city center for a taste of something different, and we were not disappointed! The decor is amazing, the service was impeccable, and the food..WOW! We ordered the chicken cous cous and beef Kafta to share, this was more than enough for the two of us. We will definitely be... Tucked up one of the small side streets near the bus station at the port, this corner restaurant is small - about 6 tables, so better to book if you are keen to go. Smallish selection on the menu, but authentic Moroccan food on offer. Also sells Moroccan wine as well as Spanish. A good ambiance with Arabic décor and... More

Small and cozy themed ambiance, on the expensive side for the area ($15-18/serving). The hummus and pita to start was very good. The chicken and lamb couscous tangible were served in a tangible clay pot, but we were surprised it had little flavor, it was served with a "salsa" ( more like a dressing) also with little flavor. Too much... More

Al-Yamal is a very small, beautifully decorated Moroccan restaurant with good, if not great, food. Our main dishes - lamb couscous and lamb Al-Kasbur, which was served with an herby tomato sauce and potatoes, had very tender meat and were served in generous portions. An extra little bowl of sauce for the couscous was a welcome touch, along with the... More

I think this restaurant is a bit over-rated. While the food was nice, there was no "wow factor". The physical plant is small, pleasant and well-heated in winter, but the decor is definitely more exotic than the food. If fish and chips is your usual fare, the menu might be exciting, but those who seek more diverse culinary experiences, this... More

We discovered this restaurant on one of our walks and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was founded in 1983 and is run by a father and son team. the food is Arabic and very good, the meal we had we enjoyed very much and we will certainly visit this place again now we have found it. We cannot rate... More

A quiet and cosy restaurant serving delicious Morrocan cuisine. The owner was warm and helpful as he gave us recommendations on what to order for our party of five. The Arab bread was soft and fluffy even a while after it was served. The kofta was delicious. Dinner got better and better with every dish served. Loved the chicken tagine... More

We had a very good lunch at Al-yamal. This restaurant is run for more than thirty years by the same family.
