Went here twice as a group of 4. Excellent tapas. Chiccarones, beef cheeks, meatballs all excellent. Nice selection of local and other regional Spanish wines. Interesting traditional interior to the bar. Seemed full of locals each evening.

The place was recommended by Ana - local tour guide and it was exactly as I imagined spanish taperia - full of people and tasty local dishes. I would love to go back there for the best chicharones!

We tried quite a few tapas bars during our 2day stay in Cadiz. We found Casa Manteca to best, both for food, charm, ambience and service. A must try if you’re visiting Cadiz.

Unfortunately we didn't have time for food so we only had a couple of beers, however the atmosphere in this bar was unmissable. It's packed full of memorabilia, and when we were there its customers were both tourists and locals. I really wish we had...More
