Our three generational family was looking for a delicious breakfast after sleeping on the night ferry from Sweden. We found what we all were looking for in Taste Restaurant in the historical city of Lubeck. The four adults had well made coffee drinks. Three of us had capuchinos and the other coffee crema. All well prepared. My two young grandsons had berry smoothies that they enjoyed.
Taste also offers freshly made juices. I had an apple carrot juice that was just what I needed to set a healthy vibe.
Our party ordered multiple plates of creamy scrambled eggs topped with crisp bacon and two maple syruped pancakes on the side . We were all very pleased with our delicious breakfasts . Two is our party had bagels filled with scrambled eggs and bacon that they also raved about.
At 8:30 am in a Saturday morning, the restaurant was filled to capacity, yet the service was outstanding and served within a reasonable time frame with kindness and excellent customer service.
We understand Taste will soon be moving to a new nearby location with more room for its growing numbers of very satisfied customers.

We ate a salad in the key and the day soup with a power fruit juice - all very delicious + very friendly service. That also had its price but quality counts. Unfortunately, the button is on the main road - so you don't sit so well outside. That will change , The button moves to the old town from November 👍

This little bistro is full of delicious and healthy food. We were here for breakfast. We ordered a bagel with scrambled eggs and a bagel with peanut butter and jam. We also had an apple/cucumber/ginger drink and delicious coffee. Definitely recommended.

Okay, I admit that sometimes I am a bit naive and so this time - without looking at the menu - I just ordered a yogurt bowl with fruit and a big cappuccino.
That could have been good, as it often has been, but unfortunately this time it was NIX!😌
The bowl was not small, I admit, but 90% was coconut yogurt and it was probably not homemade, but - at best - the one I pay for in the organic store for 400g. (!!) just € 2.80.
As a “topping”, there was an economical strip of oatmeal, chia seeds, flaxseed meal and coconut grated.
At my request, some fresh apple pieces were sprinkled on top and 1⁄4 banana. That cost another € 1.00 extra!
The cappuccino with oat milk was generously “large” and also good.
Overall, I ended up paying €16.40 for a coconut yogurt with some grains and a bit of fruit & this cappuccino!!
I had to digest this first and called again, but this price was confirmed to me.

I am delighted. I sat down in Taste and was served with love. All of my special requests were fulfilled, so it was a lovely morning. I was really surprised that they were able to serve everything.
The food tastes refreshing and is the right temperature (cereal bowl nice and cold, salmon bagel with pesto nice and warm to hot). The coffee is also good.
The atmosphere is pleasant. There are a manageable number of seats. When I visited, it was quite full. It's easy to lose track of time.
A real insider tip for a nice get-together - with two or more people, or even alone.

This is a gorgeous little cafe right in the centre of Lübeck. Pancakes and bagel were freshly prepared and delicious. Fantastic freshly squeezed juices, and the roasted rose latte was lovely and not something you see every day. Tons of vegan and veggie options. Inside is cosy and the staff are friendly and attentive. Perfect brunch stop-over for a day of sight-seeing!

This place was the best start for my day. The meal was very good (we tried pancakes and bagel with scrambled egg). The drinks were also the way we expected.
They spoke English to us and generally, we felt super welcomed. Highly recommend

This was our breakfast choice for the day, and a good choice it was. Taste is a lovely little cafe with indoor seating for about a dozen, as well as a handful of tables outside. The menu is limited to several healthy options, but they do everything well. We tried the quiche & salad, which was wonderful, and the scrambled eggs, which were perfectly done. Coffee was an excellent roast. Service was fast, friendly, and effective. Taste is a restaurant that keeps things simple, and does everything well.

I had their pastrami bagel and a super fresh juice.
The bagel was really tasty and the juice was pressed straight from the fruit on location.
Price was absolutely justified. All ingredients were super fresh and 4€ for a super fresh juice and 5€ for a great bagel are a steal.
I recommend to stop there is you need a good bagel breakfast.

The have very good pancakes at reasonable prices. The service was good and from my standpoint these were the best pancakes I have had in Europe. My wife said her omelet was also very good.
