Without a reservation we managed to get a perfect table outside, thanks to a friendly and very helpful staff. The restaurant is situated by the harbour. We ate Lobster, Fish Fillet, Veal Liver, Sea Tonque etc. On top of that a very special rum dessert called "Flensburger Rumtopf" with fresh fruits, ice cream and lokal rum, nobody was disappointed afterwards!... First day in Flensburg and we got a quite surprise. Ordered a small starter to share which was okay, afterwards the speciality of restaurant a big platter with fish containing a small amount of proper fish and the rest mussels and small prawns.. Not worth it at all.. We got a bottle of wine and a beer. Got off with... More

I came to this restaurant with great expectations. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I ordered fish with spinach and noodles. Unfortunately, the fish was from frozen, spinach tasteless, even without salt and pepper not to mention other spices (fx. garlic, nutmeg - what is usually added to the spinach). The pasta was not fresh, probably from the previous day, because... More

Next to the harbour. You can eat on the terrace. Excellent big fish dishes. Friendly staff. The price of the dishes was very good, for what you get.

Wonderful fresh plaice and sole was just what we were looking for.The service was bright and efficient. As it was lunch we sat outside. The only downside was the noise from the main road..

We were 3 people at the restaurant that night. It was very Cosy with an interesting sea inspired decor. The service was good and the restaurant was really quite and a bit dark which helped to make it a bit romantic. The fish was prepared from good a and fresh fish. I had the wienerschnitzel which was plenty big and... More

An interesting place, packed to the rafters with objets d'art and fishing memorabilia etc. The young staff had obviously had some very good training in service, and were very friendly and helpful. It is set right on the harbour front, and has tables outside, but it would be a shame to miss out on the ambience and atmosphere internally. I... More

When you're in Flensburg...make sure not to miss out on this true little gem. It's one of the oldest restaurants in town and located right at the fisherman's harbour. The interior of the restaurant mirrors decades of naval activities and makes worth the visit...eventually just for a beer at the bar - if you're not hungry. The food mainly consists... More

Went there to commemorate my 70th birthday. I was told the fish was fresh and the cuisine was good. What I wasn´t told is that it was not cheap, three people and a bill for €140 is not good economy. The taste was average, but I am spoiled by my Portuguese background, and any cheap restaurant in Lisbon would serve... More
