Ambiance was good.Food was not what I expected it to be especially with the pricing. We had the onion soup (which was great). The curry sausages and the three pork sausages were average. Draft beer was excellent. So overall, was a so so experience.

In spite of being popular with tourists, Paulaner's is definitely no tourist trap. Nice atmosphere, friendly service and great dishes both from the Munich and from the Dresden areas at reasonable prices - and of course also a great beer selection, many from tap.

Great service, delicious food at a reasonable price in a comfortable atmosphere. Our dinners including the Schnitzel and sour beef, and hard to figure which was better. The quality of the ingredients shines through. The waiter suggested a local white wine which was lovely. While we should not have done this, we had dessert. I had the dish with apples... More

On our 2 night stay in Dresden we ate here on both nights after it was recommended with due reason. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It is a great place to come for atmosphere, excellent food and good wine. We loved it so much the first night we made sure to return the second night and loved it... More

A traditional straightforward German eatery and located in the center of the old town in Dresden. Quick and friendly service and we enjoyed a very good Wiener Schnitzel with some Elbtal Landwein. Good because it was pan-fried in butter and loosely battered but more expensive than the usual deep fried version.

I had the ragout, which is a starter, but enough for a meal when you are not really that hungry, and good. Another day I had the weisswurst, which were like they should be. Very tough skin, but if you succeed in nailing them, the inside is good (with a strong mustard).

Had supper here on the night of our arrival in Dresden, and found a pleasant ambiance for Bavarian beer and food, in ideal location.

Great food, great price (considering its a major city), multi language menu's are available. Portions are large, but that's only good value for money. Plus the beer tasted great! Definitely recommend !! 5/5
