You can enjoy meat, salads and beer in a music bar inside. Or you can enjoy it all in the terrace. And a very friendly staff.

Nice stuff, good menu with lot of different meats, like crocodile, ostrich and roo. Interesting tasting experience. Moreover good cocktails. We bin there at 4pm,so a reservation wasn't necessary. Crowded street, but it was charming.

Ayers Rock is linked to Ontario, a Canadian steak house at the beginning of the Munzgasse. Yet instead of Canadian steak, Ayer‘s Rock serves ostrich, kangaroo etc They have a good choice of burgers and really nice seafood. I like that lots of dishes offer...More

Nice meals at a reasonable price . Seem very popular as people if not booked were unable to dine. We enjoyed our meals and the service and quality of the food was excellent.

We ordered the pork belly and it looked fine but it was so very dry, we told them to please make it again and it was still dry. We asked for the bill and they said in specific we added the pork too, but overall...More

Live music, authentic Australian meats offered, great soups, great wine. Recommend reservations, getting an outside table was difficult and involved a wait. 19 crimes wine was stellar

My wife and I dined here earlier this week. You have the choice of sitting inside or outside, we chose inside. The decor is good, the staff great and a decent menu. It's largely a burger place, but there are other offerings. We both opted...More

Description
The Australian speciality restaurant is located in Dresdens bar street "Münzgasse" between "Frauenkirche" and "Brühlsche Terrasse"! This restaurant combines an exciting mixture of Australian colonial style and international flair. Down under is very close - the restaurant Ayers Rock, in the middle of the historic old town, is presenting the Australian cuisine. The menu contains both familiar and exotic dishes, for example red emperor, crocodile and ostrich steak. The restaurant speciality is Kangaroo Rump Steak, according to a traditional recipe. We also serve familiar delicacies such as traditional Sauerbraten (marinated roasted beef) and local kinds of fish. A wide range of sun ripened and regional wines complements the food variety. When you enter the restaurant, you feel like you have stepped into another world. The pleasant yellow of the walls shines like the warm australian sun. Impressive set in scene here, is of course the world famous landmark of the country, the Ayers Rock. Decorative palm fronds and small works of art of the Aborigines can be admired throughout the room and give a bit of australian flair. At the covered terrace, the lively bustle is passing-by and enchants every visitor - accompanied by some live music every day at the piano! The sanctuary Ayers Rock, is called "Uluru" by the Aborigines!
