First time the staff were more concerned over where the tables were laid out in the open area in front of the cafe. Group after group were told to move their tables before they would take an order. We returned later, sat down at a table and they were telling people to move tables and people were just leaving as... More

The most attractive feature of the big Cafe Zeitsprung, the cafe of the Rheinisches Landesmuseum, is the fact that it has a few tables outside with a lovely view on the Kurfürstliches Palais and its garden. There are some strange rules though: you may only order large drinks outside. Wondering if this meant we had to order 0.4 litre of... More

A place where the staff is friendly from the start. Makes you enjoy your coffee and watching all the people around you - on Sunday noon.

The staff was friendly. I enjoyed a nice Greek salad. The cakes looked good but was ready for dessert at that time. If your lucky you might get a seat outside by the nice gardens.

We like this cafe less for the cakes which are of "normal" home-made quality. But we love to sit there on a nice Sunday afternoon with a superbe view of the elegant noble schloss buildings and the surrounding park with its fountains. It is a special delight to sit there after long hours in the archeological museum when the jokes... More

This cafe with the glass windows in Trier, had one of the most interesting locations I’ve ever seen. It was right in the middle of the action sandwiched between the formal gardens of the city schloss attached to a basilica on one hand and the archaeological museum that features the foot of Constantine on the other. Sitting outside on the... More

Myself and my little daughter like this place for the lunch in Trier. Good service, fresh veggie soups, very reasonable prices (8.80 for lunch ( dish plus soup or dessert) 7.80 for vegetarian lunch), my fav the Oriental Tea (ginger, mint, lemon, honey), beautiful location, nice interior, child friendly. Highly recommend it!

We had a last minute reservation (we just called in the morning before leaving home) and we were very well received. The breakfast options are really great and super delicious. A nice bonus is that they have mostly bio and self made offers. You can sit inside the glass house or outside in the Park. It is situated in the... More

I had chosen this "Cafe" because of its beautiful location next to a small public garden, close to the city's main museum. What a disappointment. The owner seems to run a very tight regime, with the only interest into making MORE money... My coffee took 15 min to be served, the pancakes were a disaster, and if there was more... More
