Stopped for lighter meal after overindulging for several days. excellent food, good prices. The weather was not great for eating in their pleasant outdoor seating area do we sat indoors. A little cramped inside.

Enjoyed our evening although wouldn't recommend this as a place for a meal- the menu is mainly plates of ham and cheese to have with the wine. There are other options but the food didn't feel like the point of the place. Lovely cathedral view...More
We stopped there after a lengthy visit of the Cathedral and adjacent landmarks and we enjoyed a nice glass of Mosel wine while reviewing our next plans . Nice terrace , not the nicest one in Trier but competitive prices and friendly service !
The interior tables by the wine casks are nice but the garden is a better spot on the church road - quieter than the other squares but perhaps less interesting, although you'll have views of the cathedrals depending on whether you're under an umbrella. Order...More
