This is surely one of the best pubs in town. Service is great. Drinks too and if you are hungry after some beer they have the right stuff for that too.

Nice place to have visited for a 🍻 and some Dutch Food!
And if the weather fits a wonderful surrounding either!
Lots of Green and also few more Bars!
Only parking is a little difficult 🙄

This used to be my favourite bar in Essen. It is Dutch themed and (at least before the fire) was admittedly a slightly cheesy place but in a nice way. It is located on the corner of a small square where a few other bars and restaurants are located. This is a great place in summer as you can sit outside in the shade and it gives you some sort of community feeling. They serve Grolsch beer and virtually everything on the menu is fried however the salad is good too. The music isn’t too loud, this place is about talking.

This Dutch themed restaurant has a very friendly staff and some nice beers. All of the food is fried so it's best to come for small plates and conversation, Everything tasted good, just too heavy for an entire meal.

This creative Dutch cafe would get my 5 stars if it weren't for the thick smoke inside. Oh well, considering them showing Bob Ross painting in the restrooms they will get my 5 stars! And deserve them for being crazy!!!
