We were part of the group with the Diner amical of the chaine de rotisseurs on June 11th. We had high expectations, as the restaurant is one of the few with a michelin star in the region. We found the atmosphere to sober, the lighting inadequate. The 5 course menu was not chosen by ourself which we found not very... More

I went to Berens am Kai to celebrate the birthday of my girlfriend. We don't often go to a michelin restaurant. The food varied per course, some I really liked, some less so. The most disappointing about our dinner was the fact that there was a party at this venue the same evening. We were not informed about this when... More

Place was great. Felt open and airy. Fit for the new port area. Staff was attentive enough without being too much of a helicopter. The pace of the tasting menu was great - 7 courses in about 2 hours. Food wise - overall it was good. Some flavors were a bit light for me but my faves were the pork... More

A nice restaurant with a nice location. The food had a high quality with nice flavours. The service was good as long as they don't need to speak with you because no one in the restaurant spoke English but luckily they had English menus.

A bit hidden away in a new part of Düsseldorf, this restaurant is definetely worth the visit. A warm design interior awaits you and a very warm welcome from the owners. We had a fantastic menu with a very interesting wine pairing. The wine list has a lot of "trouvailles", one must surely try a wine of Von Hövel, a... More

We went there on a Saturday evening and were surprised that the place was rather empty. Usually not a good omen. Also, the place with its modern, minimalist decor feels a bit coldish, especially when it's less crowded. However, we were more than happy with what was to follow. We had the 5 course menu. Great food, innovative, but with... More

Sometimes tasting menus are not so tasty but here they are. In a nice modern environment in the Mediahafen of Dusseldorf this restaurant offers really excellent food, good wines, good service and excellent wines. What sets it apart from many other top class restaurants is the quality of the food. Add to that a good price-point for the class of... More

Love and dedication to modern French and German cuisine reign supreme. We were served with a combination of attention, professionalism and warmth, rarely practiced with such commitment and perfection. We felt genuinely welcome. There is one midsize dining room with large windows that invite the view out to the harbour. The sparse interior design is a tasteful exhibition of the... More

The restaurant is rather pretentious but it is found lacking in both food choice and service. The food choice is very limited and rather strange. One has to chose between a la carte or from three rather rigid set-menu choices. found The food is overpriced and uninspiring, and the service is very slow and rather amateurish. There are better and... More

We expected much more from one star restaurant. The food was a disappointment and the service was cold, almost unfriendly. Definitely overpriced!
