This pub was just round the from the Residenz am Dom. Very nice bar, nice friendly staff. Kolsch beer was great. We had some food there which was good too.

Visited this bar just around the corner of Hilton Cologne. Excellent beer and friendly staff! If you like to enjoy a beer, this is the place.

What a find this was. On a corner, in a cellar. It was Friday night in Cologne, everywhere was packed and we despaired of finding somewhere to go on our last night when we came across this gem. Just a traditional bar serving some of the wonderful local Kolsch beer but a very enjoyable experience nonetheless. Definitely on my list... More

Kölsch was cold but I did not like their pizza because of thick bottom. Location is good on in a way from hotel to alt stadt.

I went there reading all the good reviews here on TripAdvisor. But seems like a typical tourist trap close to train station. They had 5 euro entrance charges because of ongoing carnival. Looking for a local pub with good beer and zero pretension? Read on. Good beer, not expensive, no attitude. Just a bar. And that is what makes it good. Near train station - stop by on the way in or out of town.

This local bar is located close to the Station Hostel and is a good place to have a few Kolsch beers, but nothing special about it. Closes early!

This place is a must. You want to see a typical Cologne bar with all its traditions and clichees you might heard of, go there. Ice cold Kölsch, typical food for Cologne, good people from the neighbourhood. ...all in all fantastic and truly KOELSCH.

Nice little local cellar type bar. Friendly but think it would have helped if I could speak a little more German.
