Good food, excellent beers, Great people, Great service, Good location. I have not been very recently there, but this restaurant /bar was good over decades. Highly recommended.

I accidentally walked into the Alcazar with a friend. The interior is more like a Kneipe with wooden tables, and such. We ordered fish, and penne with Gorgonzola. Great taste, fast, friendly service on our side. Would recommend going here again.
Being a local this should be the sort of place I love but I'm not 100% sold. It's a typical hand written (German handwriting is appalling) menu that always changes. The staff are surprisingly friendly for this part of Germany and considering they're actually German....More

Germans, like the British, frequent neighborhood pubs they call kneipen. When we lived in Cologne, Alcazar was our kneipe. The food is fairly plain but reliable, comforting and inexpensive.
