Very understated, a bit out of the way but well worth the effort. From the Dom it approx 15min on foot. Food was fantastic, good service and very good value for money.

Tried this as it was close to my hotel. Food was well priced, very fresh and tasted authentic. Portions were large and uncomplicated. Service was friendly. Tried fish of the day, and veal fubghi - both tasted great. If you are looking for a simple quick and well priced meal in this area I can totally ecommend.

Had some typical italian food here. Visited the place a little late around 22pm. Got the feeling they rather wanted us out, as there was no communication. Not even an 'enjoy your meal' or 'need anything else?' Pity because the food and prices were good.

Really good local Italian place in an area of Cologne where interesting restaurant options are hard to come-by (I have a feeling time stopped here some 15 years ago). Very good selection of pastas and pizzas (they have a proper traditional stove). Cozy place run by Italian staff with simple interior and good service. Great for a lunch break or... More

We have just visited Baia d'oro again after we have done so yesterday evening. Our kids say today was the best experience ever? It wasn't the weather. It wasn't the table, as both were the same yesterday. It is just a place in Cologne offside the beaten track where they manage to make you feel you are in Sicily. Please... More

Me and some friends ended up going to this place twice during our trip to Cologne as it was so nice the first time, we needed to go back again. I had a Spaghetti Bolognese on both occasions. I can say, hand-on-heart that it's one of, if not the nicest I've ever had. All my friends had various pizzas the... More

If you want a fancy restaurant this is not for you. But if you want a cosy little place to eat with an Italian feel, good quick service and tasty food, this for you. I had minestrone soup which was loaded with vegetables and my husband a very tasty bolognaise.

Visited with a big party of grown-ups and kids (12-13YO). Service was impeccable, kölsch served to perfection, pastas and pizzas were traditional but very high quality. Waiter was all smiles, made a good atmosphere, and rounded of the perfect meal with an excessive round of Grappa on the house. Good vibrations all along!

We don't Like to chose our meal when visiting a Italian restaurant, so we asked the waiter for advice. The result was a great meal; good quality ingredients and a absolutely great taste. Join us and visit this place, you won't regret!
