Myself and my husband love this restaurant. The current January/February menu is one of the best yet. They also have a cookbook but it’s a bit dated - how about a newer version guys?

I attempted to eat at this restaurant twice. The first time I was told they were now closed for a private event....no problem. I returned on a Sunday 12/10 at 2:30 pm. I am a solo, American female traveler. The hostess pulled a table from...More
We were invited to corporate dinner, the service is incredibly slow. It took them 1 hr to bring pre-ordered soup, and another hour to bring pre-orders main courses, all very average quality -time wasted-leaving without dessert. Won’t recommend it
This was the worst service ever. The girl serving was extremely confused and forgot she had new customers several times. The food was below average, definitely not recommended!

Margarete presents itself as a German contemporary but it is more just contemporary as its menu has French and Asian dishes. The food is good and do is the service. If you are looking for authentic German, their Bistro up front is more local.
Great atmosphere for Sunday brunch. The restaurant has a trendy and upbeat vibe. The food is great and the servings quite big. Highly recommend the sweet potato fries.
