This place was located close to our hotel and was such a lovely choice. I had a burger which was very nice! good portions of food. The dessert however was slightly disappointing but overall would definately recommend it.

We went here for breakfast & I had the best pancakes I've ever tasted! My dad had an English breakfast which was a very generous portion, very tasty & a twist on the usual full English as it included a variety of fruits. Very good value & very friendly staff

Great food. Great value and good for family meals. Attentive service and would recommend for the German dishes. Lots of choice of food and drinks and decent sized portions. A real find on our short sight-seeing trip to Berlin when other, more expensive, restaurants were full and turning customers away.

We had great German food here... keep in mind portions are large. Credit cards are accepted, and service was friendly. They had a menu in english. The prices were very reasonable, and food was delicious. If given the option, instead of fries get the croquetes.

I had breakfast on Christmas days with 2 friends in this cafe. The menu had many choices but most people, as i saw, chose the breakfast from the buffet where you can take everything you want. The plates from the set menu were huge but they were good. Kinda difficult to have the attention of the staff. It was good... More

Wanted to go somewhere doing traditional German food. Most was very straightforward, but the food was really good, the atmosphere & service really nice, & HUGE portions! Most of us (apart from the teenage boys) couldn't finish ours. Prices we're really good too.

We went here as it was close to our hotel and rated highly on tripadvisor. The food was nice but nothing that had a Wow factor. We had the sharing platter to start and I had the jaegerschnitzel for main and my partner had a burger and fries. Service was ok, but it was difficult to get someone's attention. We... More

We really enjoyed our breakfast here, so much so we came back again for a second visit on our last trip. We had the 'Bleibtreu' breakfast which was enormous and more than enough to feed two adults and our three year old twins. The staff were lovely and on the day we visited it was bucketing down with rain and... More

Nice down to earth food and friendly staff made for an enjoyable evening. Good value and seems to be full of locals. We had schnitzel with mushroom and curry wurst. Both very nice. Complimentary ameretto finished off an enjoyable evening.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
