Well located in an interesting part of town The Dwin is pleasant and has a good indoor ambience. It is an Armenian restaurant with, at best a very limited menu. Lamb features heavily and is actually extremely tasty. The Armenian bread makes the meal and is, at least Armenian! Choice of puds, one from one so not much joy there.... More

I found this restaurant in trip advisor when I was searching for Armenian food and I will say that it's a great place to have a dinner. It's a nice corner with extremely delicious food and variety of excellent Armenian brandies.

I found this place by chance. In its own limited way I found it very welcoming and pleasant. Plain Armenian cooking, mostly grilled meat. I thought the marinated lamb superb. Nice Armenian wine.

This restaurant pretends to serve the best lamb in the city, so we ordered lamb. It wasn't bad but really not amazing. Waiter was very nice. I can't recommend this place because it's too expensive and they don't even accept credit cards. Only cash. Won't eat there again.

This was nothing but a great choice: - easy to make a reservation, - very attentive and personal service, - the food was excellent! The dishes as lamb, lulee and beef were fine and delicious! The overall experience is great. We will be definitely back again.

I knew little of Armenian food so played safe with marinaded lamb. The meat was beautifully textured and tasty. The potato au gratin accompaniment was substantial, beautifully cooked and equally tasty. The meat had been grilled on lavastone and was evenly cooked without carbonisation. The setting was effectively simple. The explanations provided by the waiter/owner were informative, interesting and generously... More

Never having tried Armenian food before, we ordered the rollo and lulee and were blown away. This was the best food we'd had in days of restaurant experimenting. The atmosphere is very private and cosy and the service is good.

Being adventerous, we tried this place. It was a bit difficult to find on Uhlandstraße, located in a row of restaurants, located between Asian places. The menu was not really spectacular, grilled dishes and a few starters. The quality of the meat was not bad at all, however, nothing to write home about either. The place was nearly empty and... What they do, they do well. A handful of Armenian dishes made of meat marinated for a couple of days. If you are close by a wonderful place to simply stop by and relax. The service is fantastic - the whole place only has six tables or so. Try Dwin.
