The dining room is interesting, colorful, and highly decorated. The seating is good, and not too tight. The food portions are large. The menu items are decent renditions of what has become known as Indian cuisine. A bit boring in that respect but, at least the quality is good and the menu will probably be familiar. The bottura was more... More

We went here on a Monday night, not sure if it would be open or not, but it was absolutely full of people which is a great sign for a restaurant. The food was amazing and portion size very generous (I had chicken saag). The staff were super friendly and we were even given a free cocktail and a shot... More

The portions were large, the food tasted very good but the service was lacking. OK, so the place was packed, but you can tell that they are geared up for it to be that busy, with a huge compliment of staff that each have their own set tasks. On our visit, we had 2 issues: 1. Trying to order -... More

Find this place while strolling around. Interior is nice and warm. We had tandoori chicken tikka masala and garlic naan, which was accompanied by salad and complimentary papadams- it was enough for two. Really good value for money. And the food was so tasty. Rehnung came with complimentary of 2 shots house mango schnapps. Even the day after I remember... More

Its my favourite indian Restaurant in Berlin. I tried some others before but there is the Food that taste the best. The Portions are generous. My favourite Dish is Chicken Korma. The Cocktails are also big and strong - as it should be. The prices are good for this quality. I recommend this place

We enjoyed the food here, although it was somewhat different from other Indian food we have eaten. The butter chicken was not bad, but more sweet then we are accustomed too. We found the service to be attentive. We did have a reservation as the big restaurant was crowded. We did have to wait quite a while for our naan,... More

We kind of found Armit in Schonberg by chance and decided to go in as menu looked varied and the restaurant itself was very busy. We were shown to a table promptly and given english menus. The food arrived promptly and the portions where huge one mixed starter was enough for the three of us. The main courses again arrived... More

Food was nothing like a normal Indians in the U.K., very sweet and no Tasha.. no chips available (We love chips) the food was rushed, no choice in different rice, it seemed like very cheap food & looks like this is to make the most money possible.. wouldn't recommend! Very disappointed as we were head hunted from the street near..... More

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the centre of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
