Visited this pub several times during my recent visit to Berlin. Quite busy later on at night. Mainly there because they were showing Andy Murray playing tennis. Beer not the cheapest, food was all right, nothing too fancy. Better later on when there is live music. Could be the ideal "man Creche", have a beer while the wife shops.

Saw this bar when in the europa centre so decided to pop in for a pint. Beer is overpriced and flat. Staff have no interest in customers only each other and the place stinks of cigarettes. Would not recommend this bar at all. Go somewer else!

We saw the advertising boards for the pub after leaving the station. We thought we would try it and were very pleased we did. The staff were lovely with excellent English, even though one server did not know what lemonade was. We had to say Sprite. We got there! The facilities were very clean due to the kindly old gentleman... More

Standard pub of 'what people who've never been to Ireland think their pubs are like,' but with the added ambiance bonus of being in the basement of a shopping centre! Unless you are a raging alcoholic who can't make it through a shopping trip without stopping for a tipple, I wouldn't bother with this place. Loud, sticky tables, staff who... More

Typically irish bar, located in a shopping centre. Big, but always crowed. A bit dirty, but go there for the beer and the live music, not the food

Big touristy and a little worn down place with lots of people there, mostly young. Huge speakers with loud music while we were there, so we tried to find an area where we could have a conversation with each other. Then some karaoke started in the inner room where we were... The food wasn't very good. We ordered fries with... More

I really liked the Irish pub for its atmosphere and choice of drinks on offer.... But for us older folk it was hard to find a table and chairs.... I only counted about 3 the rest are all high bar stools with high tables, so if you are getting on a bit, or you have a disability, it could pose... More

This place is very popular and seems to be busy most of the time. Excellent location close to Wittenbergplatz and the markets, pictured. Very good range of beer and the staff are efficient and friendly. Most speak very good English.

Thank Bigall1

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
