We had the degustation menu - 2 of us had the 6 course and the 3rd had the 9 courses. Each course is thoughtfully executed and beautifully presented on a variety of interesting plates - some looked like Japanese zen rock gardens - one came...More

Food is a question of taste. I am sure someone else would enjoy the place. I do not want to be too harsh. But it suffers, in my opinion, from a typical Germanic lack of taste - clean flavors, nice presentation, but simply not tasty...More

My partner and I ate here twice this week, first in the wine bar downstairs and later in the week at the Michelin starred restaurant upstairs. As a general comment, the place is very loud and could benefit from soundproofing, fabrics or other materials known...More

We went here for a light meal after the concert. They had been very accommodating in accepting a relatively late arrival. Service was friendly, the sommelier slightly overbearing, but very competent. Managed to pick just the right sort of Spaetburgunder. Food was excellent.

I was disappointed here. I had heard good things about this restaurant but the service was slow, the food okay but not expectional, the atmosphere dull and the price high. I will happily pay twice what i normally would for a meal of exceptional standards...More

I went with 3 great friends one afternoon recently while on a trip celebrating our friend's 60th birthday. We more or less completely left ourselves in the hands of the waiter and sommelier, saying we were there for the experience and to celebrate. The two...More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum

city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given

Hi Jaclan 29, I am sure they can arrange something for you. I would probably ask for a table which is not in the middle. In Germany they like to prepare something Special for the Bday Girl or Boy, so I am quite positive they... More

A michelin star restaurant with Marco Muller one of the best chefs in germany.
From first impressions, our unimposing facade offers little of what lies within. From the moment you step inside, the RUTZ Restaurant opens up like an art gallery delivering a puristic rooms-within-rooms concept, Restaurant and Winebar. Elegant and yet simultaneously harmonious.
The RUTZ Restaurant is located on the first floor. Here you enjoy a modern laid back atmosphere amongst natural materials and an exclusive ambience of high-end hospitality.
Here you will find a perfect combination in every dish of flavor balance and creative inspiration.
Our Head Chef Marco Muller is dedicated to delivering naturally sourced ingredients of only the highest standard and variety. His creative and yet well-balanced cuisine focuses on originality, naturality and aromatics.

A great wine bar with a huge wine list. Our multi-award winning wine list offers over 850 unique bottlings with a primary focus on Riesling and German wines.
On behalf of Michelin Star chef Marco Muller, Head Sommelier, Restaurant Manager and the whole RUTZ Team, we look forward to hosting you soon.
