During my business trip to Berlin I lived in an apartment just above the restaurant and ate there most days of my visit. However, my frequent revisiting of this place was not a matter of convenience but of the quality and taste of the food, as one day I walked for a whole hour just to get here for lunch... More

Really enjoyed the Thai/Vietnamese food at Samadhi, it was very good quality. There was also a good selection of drinks, including non-alcoholic beer options. The only downside was that the service, sadly, was very inattentive, though this was possibly just down to language/culture.

Great vegan/veggie option near the Brandenburg Gate, due to the location maybe why it's a little pricy, but the food it's really good. Service by the owners gives a great touch with some friendly eastern feelings. In a cold day great option it's any soup, will be warm and tasty!

Found this restaurant by chance on my first visit to Berlin in 2013, and visited twice as a solo diner on my recent trip. Delicious food and friendly staff.

We've been to this restaurant for the last two nights and plan on going back tomorrow. After eating lots of heavy food in middle Europe this restaurant is a fantastic find. All four dishes we've had so far were light, perfectly cooked and presented and had a delightful, delicate flavour. Let Huy guide you - his recommendations were spot on.

What a great little restaurant! We found this restaurant whilst walking around the Brandenburg Gate. We noted the excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. Having mainly eaten a lot of meat in Berlin, which is easy to do, it was refreshing to come to a restaurant which focuses on good nutrition, vegetables, and meat free dishes. We were not disappointed! The. enu... More

Absolutely fantastic vegetarian / vegan restaurant with an amazing menu. The dishes were well presented and piping hot and realistically priced - average 8-12 euros for a main, good selection of Thai beers, fruit juices, and teas (I had a melon tea but I think it might have contained dried courgettes?! - it was surprisingly refreshing). The menu is supported... More

Although decoration is a little bit cold, food is good and services are big enough. I liked to eat in a vegetarian restaurant because in mixed restaurants which also serve vegetarian dishes, you cannot be hundred percent sure. I am glad that there was this option.

Probably one of the longest menus I have ever looked through, but such fantastic variety of food and options for vegans. My boyfriend (non-vegan) even said it was the best meal he has ever eaten. Very impressed!

We had a long day but had booked to go here. We walked quite a way to get to it. We found a nice table by a window. The waitress brought the menus in a minute or two. A menu each and a folder with photographs of each of the dishes about 80 - wow. So much choice of wonderful... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
