We went here for an early lunch and ordered Kimchi and Octopusballs (try them!) along with two different main courses and all of them were tasty! Really neat and modern space and comfortable benches with cool music. 8 euro for lunch, 3 euros for sides.

OK. This is basically Japanese tapas. It's a nice spot on Rosenthaler Strasse. Staff are friendly & helpful. Some dishes are much better than others but it's a perfect place for getting multiple dishes to share. Smaller plates are under 4 euros, larger ones under 8. We ordered chicken karage (very good), edamame beans (can't go wrong), Takoyaki deep fried... More

Dropped in while searching for some nice dinner place after a tiresome day. We were lucky to get the pre-reserved table as the people reserved it were late, and the further reservations were unable as the place was fully booked in further perspective. We ordered: edamame, tofu salad, two "hungry menu" set "seafood domburi", four sashimi(salmon, tuna х2 and scallop),... More

The restaurant and the service were quite alright and the prices were also affordable for lower budgets. The only problem seemed to be the food. It was not bad - but it missed some taste which made it quite blend in total - which is sad since Asian cuisine lives from finess. However I would not say that it was... More

Great food and very affordable, had a few different sorts of sushi and all of them were nice. The restaurant has a great location and a cozy atmosphere and also the service is good. Nothing to complain about. Just a few steps from top score, but a restaurant I def. would recommend to visit.

Short summary: The chefs should try their own food and the waiters the service. Not worth the money. We booked a table in advance - smart since it was a friday and quite crowded. Took us quite some time before we got the meny and then som additional time before we got to order. The meny consists of typical smal... More

this place open at 12 noon. I tried their bento. It was tasty, and the menu is okay, not that big, but not that small. My order came not that long, around 15 minutes, maybe because they just started. They dont have wifi in here. Their interior is like in Japan traditional restaurant, and their ceilling is decorated with chopsticks.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
