This food was absolutely delicious! The drinks were great and the sharing platters were Devine! We were looking for a place that offered something slightly healthy! A lot of places in Berlin are just pastries and coffee. Factory girl offers something a little more unusual yet the taste is on another level. Service was ok... but the food spoke for... More

The place looks okay but the service was just the worst I had in Berlin. There are tons of better places to visit in the same area.

Myself and my friends visited here for breakfast after reading the good reviews. The omelettes are very lovely and my friend had a sandwich which she enjoyed a lot. The service was great, nice and friendly with a smile and the restaurant itself is really quirky with a lot of character and charm. Highly recommended.

We found this gorgeous quirky cafe called Factory Girl, a tasting lab whilst spending the weekend in Berlin! Everything about this place felt unique, the decor was fun and had campbell's soup can's on the walls amongst other kitsch-like items. And, oh my, the food and drinks were incredible. I highly recommend getting the full plater, the home-made lemonade and... More

I am obsessed with Turkish style breakfasts and this place did not disappoint. We had their egg dish with the sucuk. Also had a cheese plate that came with both cheeses and jams and spreads. My friend had a sandwich that was also really good. Bread was fresh baked and hot. This kept us full all day, so I considered... More

I visited The place for breakfast. The taste, omelet is good, and also the breakfast set also nice and tasty. But not too much chooses they have. Limited but nice. Also coffee is good.

We went there on a Sunday morning for breakfast but was so crowded that we ended by reserving a table and coming back in an hour. I had a cold pressed orange juice and all green dish. The food was delicious but a bit too much bread and cheese and few vegetables :) The waiters were a bit overwhelmed with... More

I booked a table online for 3 to have brunch on a Saturday morning. I had had a recommendation from a friend for this place and was looking forward to it. When we got there our table wasn't ready and we had to wait to be seated. Not a problem. However, once we were seated we did not get a... More

An atmospheric cafe with tasty sweets and very good coffee (espresso, capuchino and latte). A good cafe for relaxing. Visit it.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
