We went here on a saturday afternoon, the restaurant was less crowded than expected. We paid 35 euros in total for 2 main dishes, summer rolls and 2 homemade Ice Teas. The food was really nice and the portions were good, although the soup was a bit bland.

Having eaten quite a lot of pastry products, Saigon Green was a lovely contrast to the heavier food. There was choice for the vegetarian and the dishes we had tasted fresh and light, whilst being filling and warming. The staff were friendly and it was good value.

Nice place, stylish, very well presented. Food is quite good, a little pricey, but also slightly anonimous. Would not return, although it is an option.

Fresh and genuine food, nice service, and low prices. Don't go if you don't like coriander, though, because it's in almost every dish.

While we were not so impressed by some of the restaurants we picked during our trip to Berlin, this one is right on the money. The food is very tasty, very fresh and an excellent value for money. Also, the service was good and friendly. Now, this is a casual place, and given that the food is so good and... More

We were recommended this place by our hotel. A truly wholesome menu with lots of choice. Have decided the best way is to come every night for two weeks and work thru the menu. Really tasty food, promptly served and reasonably priced. Watch out though, cash only.

The food at Saigon Green was perfect for a break from delicious but heavy German food. We tried the beef in betel leaves which had a rich and complex flavour, the crispy spring rolls which were very tasty, a noodle dish and broth with dumplings. The ingredients were fresh and very enjoyable. The star for us though was the Hibiscus... More

Really surprising as doesn't look like much from the outside and not in a busy location. Looking for lunch and saw this restaurant was really busy compared to others nearby. Had two main dishes and a starter and only came to about 15 euros. Delicious and great value. Great for a light lunch/sharing food but wouldn't recommend for special occasions.... More

We called in on spec on a Tuesday evening. The place was rammed with happy diners. They don't take reservations but the lady explained that if we went for a drink and came back in an hour she would find us a table. Sure enough, an hour later we were sitting down. We shared several excellent dishes: summer rolls, beef... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
