Best Döner kebab place I tried in Berlin. Tasty, fresh vegetables and crispy bread. Excellent choice if you want to have good Döner.

As the previous review said, this was above average döner place in a city full döner places. If you want to eat your döner at the restaurant, it's easy as there are a lot of places indoors. The service was really friendly and the döner tasted fresh and tasty, so everything was just fine.

Better than the average doner stand, this place infuses Anatolyan flair with German curry stands. The picture of Angela Merkel with the Doner guy is too cool. Cheese borak, currywurst, doner and a 1/2 CHICKEN for uner 10 euro was the best part.

I try to stay in Friedrichshain, and on my first visit in July 2010 we stopped by the place as it's right on the Warschauer Strasse, the main drag. Prices were substantially lower than most places in Berlin, and therefore most places in Germany. What I loved about the place is the constant turnover of local customers he got. Since... More

Staying in Friedrichshain

Neighbourhood Profile
Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may find a bar with international crowds, electronic music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other, an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit buildings and live alternative music. No matter your taste, the best way to end a night out in Friedrichshain is sitting by the Spree River at the East side gallery, the longest and best preserved piece of the Berlin Wall, watching the sun rise over the beautiful Oberbaum Bridge.
