Luzia is one of the best bars in Berlin. If you really wanna discover the Berlin's bar atmosphere, this place is one of the places you want to be in. They have very good cocktails as well.

We were there for drinks during the day and the night - the atmosphere was different, but we liked it both times - it was chill during the day and quite busy and crowded during the evening with some DJ. Also drawings on the wall are quite bizarre.

We were looking for somewhere to go after dinner in Kreuzberg, this bar looked absolutely buzzing from the outside so we decided to go in. Luzia has a lovely atmosphere with candlelit tables, quick bar service and good music - you could spend an entire night here!

At the bar. With drinks and nice company. The place is cozy enough, drinks are good and the music is nice.

Imagine being surrounded by music, soft lights and candles... Better don't imagine it, go visit it! Gold painting on the wall, vintage lamps and an unusual selection of soft drinks. An hidden spot for couples and friends.

I like Luzai to drink something. It is one of the good options in Berlin to drink somethings before go to the clubs

Extensive cocktail list. The decor and ambience is probably what draws in the crowds. We popped in to see the place having heard about its popularity and street art. Perfect for a drink during the day while watching the street below through the large open windows. The decor appears to be a lot of salvage type stuff - old retro... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
