Nice place but I expected more of it. Went there in the evening but there wasn't an available table so came back in the afternoon and we were seated immediately. Most of the people who were in the restaurant were grabbing a drink, they looked like local students. Surprisingly there is no menu in English, only in German so the... More

A random search for Mexican food came up with this joint. We got there at 7.45pm, happy hour is 5-8pm btw. A friendly greeting and huge cocktail persuaded us to stay for food. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Big portions and a buzzing atmosphere. Great fun with friendly staff. Just go and enjoy.

This place has a huge range of cocktails that aren't just the same as any other bar in Berlin. They also taste great! Happy hour everyday from 5pm until maybe 8/9(?) So a bargain during these hours. The staff are all friendly and although I didn't have food; it looked lovely!

Went here for half price cocktails and something to eat. The restaurant was mobbed but despite this we were served quickly. Generous helpings of food and massive cocktails contributed to an enjoyable evening.

Came here just to have snacks, had been hankering for a nice Mexican beer, and this place was perfect. Probably packed on a sunny day, on a rainy evening it was pretty sparce but picked up as the night wore on. Nice service, great salsas. Enjoy!

The serve lots of drinks (from simple beer/wine to cocktails) and good Mexican food. So you will have lots of choise. Without any complaining about the delicious food, there's one thing to improve, because we went there with about 10 people and it took them (notice given upfront) a long time to get all meals on the table.

Service was really friendly, driks were fresh and delicious. But the food. We ate burritos and what can I say.. Burritos were tasteles and boring, potato wedges tasted like the ones you can buy from your local supermarket... Burgers looked good but I don't know if they are worth of your money. Prices were quite high since the quality was... More

Very nice food , tasty and large portions ! Well satisfied food wise . Service was a bit slow due to the amount of people that were there so it took a while to order desserts and get the bill etc . Very good overall though , would definitely go back ! You guys need some English menus please !

Description
Shake it baby! The Sausalitos has a very attractive bar which offers a large variety of cocktails such as caipi, cuba libre and Long Island ice tea. The bar tenders are also very good-looking. When it comes to mixing the drinks they know what they are doing. Party people, the in-crowd and the young at heart enjoy the large selection of drinks and of course the Tex-Mex cuisine which includes burritos, nachos, burgers, fajitas and steaks. There is a small but excellent selection of wine. The waiters and waitresses are friendly. The bar area has a high vaulted ceiling and you can sit at light-coloured tables which are arranged among the bar's many wooden columns.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
