The menu isn't extensive (and all vegetarian/vegan), but I ate the vegetable/peanut curry and it was .. yum! The owner also happily adapted a dish for my husband, who is coeliac. The decor and atmosphere is cosy and quaint and at an affordable price.

The food looks and tastes amazing! Even though we ordered three courses it was also exceptionally affordable. Great service too!

Amazing light and fresh recipes. Lot of flavor and cozy little place. People who are looking for a good light lunch. Highly recommend the salad here! Never had something like this before.

Food made with fresh ingredients enthuse aromas and taste. You can communicate in English - I was able to order food without nuts on which I am allergic. Service very nice. Although vegan meal I came out full.

This is a little family restaurant near the museums island in Berlin that only serves lunch. The food is outstanding with flavors that are of another world. Small menu, small prices, great food. We came twice it was so good. I was here with my wife 6 months ago but the food here is the only cuisine from our trip... More

Went because my partner has went vegan. Got there just as it opened at 12pm. Just as well as it filled up very quickly. Menu is in German and waitress spoke limited English but we were happy to go for taster menu at less than 10€ each. Very fresh salad with spicy curry soup to begin with. Followed by vegetable... This restaurant is amazing. There wasn't an actual menu, they had a 4 course menu which they bring to you. The lady was very helpful with all my intolerances and allergies. The food is cooked fresh so she was able to twist it for me. And I tell you I'm not an easy customer... The food was tasty, light and... More

I found this restaurant on my beloved Trip Advisor and went along after reading all the positive reviews. We were served by 2 friendly ladies, their English wasn't brilliant but enough for us to understand them and vice versa! We didn't really understand the menu, anyhow we went for 4 delicious courses, a beetroot and peanut hot soup, a lovely... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
