As a Korean, I thought the place was just O.K... I thought the food was a bit sweet... we had a beef ramen - hmmm... I think my daughter can cook better. Bulgogi rice was good enough. Mandu was also good. Their Kimchi was actually a real Korean taste so I was happy with that. For a fast food place... More

I love the korean culture but i never ate korean food so I chose YamYam as my first experience because it had some good reviews. And we weren't dissapointed! When we arrived, everyone was very nice and obliging, they immediatly gave us the menu card (we didn't have to wait) and after ordering we got our dishes (and I'm not... More

Been here twice and since I was new to Korean food I appreciated the pictures in the menu though usually it can be a turn off. Not too spicy and not too fancy. The atmosphere is more diner-like so I'd rather go here with friends than say for a date. If you're hungry for Korean then YamYam will not let... More

As the name suggests everything here is "YamYam"! Try the super delicious dumplings. Also loved the Aloenade Drink.

A nice and cuzy restaurant with varied menu. I went with 2 friends of mine and at first it took us time to figure what we want to order, and it seemed that the waiter wasnt so patient. Anyway, the plats were very good and tasty!

This is a cozy restaurant in a nice area. Their dumplings are really good and the waiters are serviceminded and friendly. I was there late at night just before they closed. They close late. 23-24 at night.

Here you can have an amazing experience of Vegetarian or Meat dishes. Spicy Soups with an amazing taste. Second time we came and we will always visit again when in Berlin Mr.Aubergine

We visited YamYam missing k-food and our expectations were rather neutral. We ordered meat bibimbap, kimchi jiggae and meat mandu (plus drinks, soju and extra kimchi). Food was good in general, no bigger complains but could be a little better. Extra kimchi size was terribly small, almost not there and tried better bibimbap in my life. Kimchi jiggae was FANTASTIC... Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
