This restaurant offer good Indian punjabi food. Portion are moderate. 1 to 2 person can consume one portion. Rice come with every main course dish. Try there lassi. Good when away from India. Staff is cooperative and friendly. Good interior.

The dishes had mostly the same taste, the naan was dry, the texture of the chicken in the tikka sauces was really strange, it seemed like undercooked but it was not, you could see that. Maybe it was frozen chicken that was heated up, it took no time at all for the food to arrive at the table, that is... More

Bad service and bad food. All the ingredients taste the same Indian cuisine is one of my favourites and this restaurant is not serving Indian food properly. The waiters were not paying attention. After having told two waiters that I was allergic to eg, I still got a salad with mayonnaise. We also had to ask twice in order to... More

In the city centre. Nice street garden with outside seating. Good food, friendly staff. Usually very crowded, many visitors are tourists. Not expensive.

Rocked up an hour before our show started. Staff really accomodating; found us a table and served 2 generous G+T's within 5 minutes of sitting down. Despite the quick service the food was delicious and generous portions and reasonably priced. Nice buzzy atmosphere - couldn't have asked for more!

We ate dinner here and both really enjoyed our food: lamb madrasi and chicken khadai. We had a garlic naan which although thinner than those usually served in the UK was very good. My merlot was lovely. Service was first-rate.

Went there for a dinner but the cheese pakora was rubbery and had to send back. They replaced it but then again the batter on the pakora was not cooked properly. My stomach was upset afterwards. The main food was ok but again the dessert but nothing but a good way to rip people off!! The waiter was somehow rude... More

Description
One of the best and biggest Indian restaurant we came across in Europe. Were so happy with the service that i am actually surprised not finding it on TripAdvisor. It's a must if one is looking for authentic Indian taste on not customized Indian taste to suit Europe market.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
