This was a hotel recommendation for German food on my first night in Berlin. Leibniz Klause was a short cab ride from my Budapester Strasse hotel that was definitely worth the trip. For dinner I ordered the Pork Knuckle and it was served crispy roasted...More

Vast menu, covers all the expected German traditional dishes you would want to see and the quality of food is excellent. The veal schnitzel and venison goulash were outsanding, as well as the grilled chicken with spetzle. The bar has 4 beers on tap, amongst...More

Was looking forward to a traditional German dinner and was referred by hotel concierge. Starters of tartare and onion soup were good but oxtail soup was clear and tasteless. My wienerschnitzel was heavily breaded and deep fried. A few forkfuls after peeling off the breading...More

A nice German restaurant with near perfect service. We had escargot for starters, good. We then had different schnitzels as main course. Mine was rather dry and both was rather tasteless unfortunately. I would really like to give a higher rating because of the service...More

We arrived at the restaurant and were very well catered for, the waiter suggested us asparagus with escalope. I accepted the suggestion. Supposedly, when I went to pay I contacted them that they charged 16 euros for the escalope and 14 euros for the asparagus....More

Recommended by the hotel, this restaurant is run by the owner and his wife. An extensive menu of German traditional food and good beer. We had tables outside on a warm sultry evening. What more could you want?

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
