We found this place by accident when walking in a street just off the Kudamm at around lunch time. The menu looked great; traditional German. Stepping inside , it was empty, but we were welcomed by the boss man, and quickly ordered some beers. He...More

We read the Trip Advisor Reviews and tried it for ourselves. We agree with the rest - this is a superb, inexpensive German foodie find right near the Berlin Zoo. Highly recommend!

Nicely furnished, nice atmosphere, and food was good but the steak was amazingly tough. I didn't complain because although tough it was tasty. The salad and fried potatoes with the steak were delicious. I would go back there.

This restaurant is quite typical German restaurant. I would say half were locals having a beer and something to eat when we visited. That creates the good feeling that you can see and experience life of Berlin. McDonalds is everywhere, so why to go there....More

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
