First trip to Berlin and this gem was close to our hotel, staff were lovely and spoke English. Brilliant way to try loads of different German dishes and not expensive at all. Loved it.

If you are Looking for a schnitzel when you are in Berlin, definitly go for the really thin and crispy wienerschnitzel at schnitzelei. It is the best schnitzel i had ever had. Dessert was also really good!

Location is great if you are there before 9 pm as the outdoor area closes. Great food. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Got a little stuffy when the windows were closed due to problems with the noise. A little expensive.

We were very thankful to this place for allowing us a last minute reservation, their last one at that. Service was very good and we were even greeted with a small beer on the house. Very good for groups. We got the 3 tapas option...More

We stopped for casual eats and had the tapas plates. Schnitzel, is very generous on portions. The tapas was, as you would expect, German - so wurst and some kartoffel included. Nice cold beer, good wine and a very social meal. Good quality tasty food...More

Hi David. You could walk it from your hotel - its only about 1.5km and a decent walk from there too. Probably take longer finding a taxi! Hope you get to eat there, fabulous place, great food and service. Nick

Description
The place to go for a good Schnitzel. The name of the restaurant says it all. There is a really good choice of Schnitzel. The restaurant also caters for vegetarians with a parmesan risotto Schnitzel. The good traditional Austrian fare goes down well with the general public. Start off your meal with a selection of starters offering all kinds of delicacies. The staff are great. So too are the rectangular lamps on the walls which are even used as candleholders. The wine selection is very good.
