A restaurant sought after by the locals, not surprising when you experience great food made and arranged with style but without pretense. Service is fast and friendly.

There were four of us, all family. The couple who brought us here are local and had booked a table in advance. Their recommendation is to be noted, as they are people with taste. Upon first impression, this is a little area of Berlin which...More

I loved it. Has what I want. Locals eating in a place with a limited menu of items done well. No rush. Beautiful wooden tables. The lamb cassoulet was awesome. The tart appetizer - speck and cheese, was more than enough for three people.

The menu is not very large but i am sure you they will have something for everybody. The food is traditional German but well prepared and tasty.

We had a great evening. Good wine and delicious food. Simple German cuisines which cannot go wrong but the restaurant makes them elegant, unlike the gigantic portions serve in a typical German restaurant. Definitely worthwhile if you happen to be in the area during dinner...More

What a lovely old restaurant, serving old style Berlin food. It took a while for the waiter to warm up, but he got there in the end. The food is fab if you like German cuisine. Well worth a visit.

Solid food, delicious Flammkuchen. Love the atmospheric outside seating. Friendly service. Not cheap but worth it.

In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political
west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to
famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may
have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays
tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest
city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent
past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating
back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while
