This place is a nice mix of hipster and dive. The kebab was great! Nice spices and meat and veggies and sauces. So cheap too!

It is the first place I go every time I visit Berlin, directly from the airport! The ambiance is great, the staff is friendly, and the most important of all, the DONER IS GREAT! It is THE BEST doner you will ever taste in your life! There is also vegetarian doner for the vegetarian guys. don't forget to buy Ayran... More

Not long after checking into our hostel and asking for somewhere close by to eat did the staff highly recommended this kebab place. They were so confident we would enjoy it they claimed we could not be disappointed! We knew which kebab place they meant once we saw the queue but it moved very fast and it was so worth... More

Long, slow moving queues but worth the wait! I have never tried a kebab like this before. It has so many great flavours happening at once, a must try if in Berlin.

I was in Berlin for a week staying close by. We visited Mustafa's three times during our stay. I absolutely loved it. No other döner I had while in Germany compared. I had the gemüse döner, hänchen döner, and the dürüm. Everything is good. The hänchen and dürüm slightly outshine the gemüse, but I have to say those roast vegetables... More

They put some feta and extra stuff in there. Good but easily replicated. It takes ages to get served but people like the food so much or when they see a queue they join. such as was the old eastern bloc way of life.

Really impressed to get such a good kebab for just few euros. If you are in Kreuzberg this place is absolutely a must and honestly for the price we paid we went three times when we were exploring the neighbourhood. Highly recommended.

Its normal Kebab just with edition of baked vegetables and fresh cheese. Defenitly not worth to wait 15 + minutes expecially if u consider that u are a Tourist and Kebab is not traditional German food. Its really not that good..If u really want Kebab just take it in some near Kebab place.

Amazing Kebabs either on Pita or Turkish bread. So many flavors blend perfectly. There is only veg option as well tastes equally good. Very delicious cheap food if you are willing to wait in line. Very popular for a reason

So while my son was eating at Curry 36, a mere 10 metres away, I thought I'd join the queue to see if all I'd heard about Mustafa's kebabs was correct. Believe me you won't be disappointed if you're a fan of this particular delicacy. I'll just reiterate that you are not only offered vegetarian kebabs, as chicken is also... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
