We were in the area and did a search for somewhere nice to eat and came across this restaurant........ what a find! Great food, really interesting menu, lovely atmosphere with live music and reasonably priced. Definitely out best food experience in Berlin to date.

Nice restaurant. Menu is traditional Russian. The buffet food selection was good, with good flavours and variety. Staff very friendly and helpful. One small feature.. would be good to have labels on the various dishes on the buffet.

Established by a friend of mine since we were kids, this restaraunt is a very attractive place for people who seek some Russian pecularity in their rest and dinner. Voland's owner Tatiana is very nice person who makes this place really special. Order pelmeni and...More

I love Voland Cafe for its yummy and authentic Russian food as well as for its selection of Berlin’s finest Russian singers and bands performing right next to you while dining. Just like in Russia you order your 100 grams of Vodka and toast to...More

The food is very delicious and has a decent variety to let you choose but not to be overwhelmed by the new and for some of us unconventional tastes. The rooms are an interesting mix between light and dark elements and create an welcoming atmosphere....More

Voland is a top choice for such a cold weather, the atmosphere is very warm and relaxed, especially on Fri, Sat when they have live music in there. We prefer to go there either on Thursdays when there is a buffet (good thing for those...More

I've never been to Russia but this place just might be as close as you can get without traveling. If there was a charm to the Cold War-era, Voland has it with its dark wood and red curtains. You can imagine a KGB-officer treating a...More

Our German-Russian friends invited us for a dinner in Voland and we had a wonderful evening in this restaurant with a cozy Russian living room feeling. The live music was entertaining and the service nice. And I really liked the Russian bier!

Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip
crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,

Russian Specialities in a Unique WayEscape the daily life and let our delicacies seduce you and our music delight you. The ice-cold vodka crowns the atmosphere and the wonderful ambience refreshes your soul.Since the nineties existing restaurant in the former East Berlin has seen many changes in the City, but it always stays loyal to it's guests. With the Russian Kitchen an the wonderful mix of the Eastern European kitchens inevitable connected with it, Voland offers the guest an unique culinary experience. As the Russian soul always searches for something poetic and theatrical even while dining, the connection to the arts appears natural. Performing musicians offer a wide scale of various styles of music from jazz, chanson and folk through klezmer and yiddish to gipsy music, and portray the variety of the ever-changing life without neglecting the traditions.
