After visiting the bit boring Berlin steakhouses like Maredo and Block House, and the hip and trendy The Bird that everyone raves about, we went to Midton Grill with friends. I was very positively surprised about the quality of the steaks, which were better prepared than those served at e.g. The Bird, and the onion rings, baked potatoes and the... More

A stable performer for meat lover in Berlin! Recommend soft crab salad and various steak that are on offer! Their Danish smoke salt is a must try together with the meat ad well!...ok we order medium rare but the meat comes more close to medium...nevertheless still ultimately tasty! And watch out their lime cake, it comes with two pieces of... More

An americanised hotel dining room basically. Dark, open viewing area of the cooking which isn't terribly interesting since it's just production-line steak frying. Tables a little close together. My waiter was American and service was efficient if a little anonymous. My steak was fine. The roast potatoes, sliced with bacon bits and onion are very good. It is mid-price for... More

Really enjoyed the steak dinner at this restaurant. Portions were larger compared to other berlin restaurants and the prices were comparable. In addition really great service. If you can tolerate the prices I recommend it

We had no reservations but the restaurant was less than half full. Even so, the hostess had us wait for 25 minutes in the bar with no plausible explanation. When we were seated she led us to a very noisy area and seemed almost resentful when we asked for another table. We got it, but felt we had inconvenienced her.... More

The food in this steak house in the Berlin Marriott was excellent and reasonably priced. The decor was minimalist as this was the coffee shop/breakfast restaurant of the hotel. The menu was definitely geared towards meat eaters, but the steaks were cooked to perfection.

I'm writing this just sitting here watching the world go by. We needed this after walking and walking today. Really nice lunch menu, cold beer and a glass of Pinot. Price unimportant really. Nice one!

This was my second trip to Berlin and visit to the Midtown Grill. The steak selection is very good. Not only is there a selection of cuts, there is a selection beef types/origins. I ordered the USDA tenderloin and my coworker had the USDA strip loin. He said his was good and I know mine was very good. Cooked exactly... More

Visited this restaurant, had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection,al dente vegetables again perfect. Complimentary bread and pesto selection served on arrival. The meal was completed with a novel way of serving complimentary toasted marshmallows. The staff very pleasant and helpful.

We visited this restaurant for a birthday meal and we were very impressed. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the food is excellent. I got the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection. We were given breads with various pestos complimentary at the beginning and at the end, the waiter came with marshmallows and a flamer so that we... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
