Walked past this place during the day and decided to come back for dinner, we were shown our menus and ordered the focaccia as a starter, which to my understanding is a bread, but we given a main size pizza, which was served plain covered in tomatoes, unlike any focaccia I've ever eaten! Couldn't even eat a quarter of this!... More

The staff is really friendly and wants to help you. We didn't understand some of the ingredients (because everything was in German), but then he showed everything on a plate. My sister loved her pizza, but I a little less. It's not really special, but still good.

Nothing special in the december, small and not so frienldy. Only the cook was smiling.. Maybe better in the summer when you get to the terrace. I took the tunafishpizza and it was tasteless and I did get sick

Very family friendly place to have a dinner. I went with my girl and you get a great amount of food for a good price. Fast food service also and the workers are very caring too. I had no problem with my visit and I plan to come back in the near future.

The place was dead when we went in, we should have taken that as a sign! Anyway the service was okay until we ordered after that we were ignored for ages before we got the bill. My pizza had way too much cheese on and it was burnt underneath the base, the pizza itself was bland and I left most... More

Our family came to Trattoria to have a lunch. The daughter was very hungry. There were no places for three persons. However the waiter offered to wait some minutes because some people asked for a bill. We took a small table to wait. However when people paid and left trattoria we were stopped to go to the table because the... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
