We had a cold cucumber soup and a local "cheese treat" as appetizers, and for dinner we had the pork ribs and the lamb. All food was fantastic as well as the wine the owner suggested us. The only thing is that the restaurant does...More

Everything about this place is just excellent!! the ambiance, food, and service. It is one of the oldest buildings in the town. The inside of this building says a lot about the history and architecture of the old town. The food, as well as service...More

Popped in for dinner without a reservation but were seated very quickly. Food was delicious, we had the Skewers (amazing!) and the cous cous dish (very nice). Attentive staff made this a very pleasant experience.

The charm about dining here is that it's a medieval tavern and the oldest building in town (maybe a thousand years old)! There are at least 3 small rooms, one of which looks a bit like a cave, so tables are tightly squeezed together. My...More

We were referred here by the staff at our hotel, The Herrnschloesschen. Reservations are recommended as it is popular and small. I had the beef and spaetzle special, my husband had the garlic prawns and pasta. Both were good, but not great. Service was good...More

We had a fantastic meal! To my embarrassment, this restaurant only takes cash, and I did not have enough to pay for my party of 13. The owner asked if I was staying in town and when I told him yes, he said "go enjoy...More

We decided to stroll right in without a booking on a Friday night. Despite them being booked to full capacity they did their very best to fit us in. It was very warm, homely and just the kind of German food you want on a...More
