We stayed close by to Friedrich Ebert Platz and this restaurant is right next to the U-Bahn/Tram stop. We went there three times firstly just for a drink and then to eat. Each time warmly greeted and there was space available even though it was...busy even on Monday evening and Wednesday lunchtime. Nice atmosphere. Beer was good and reasonably priced at 2.90EUR per half litre and the food on both occasions was really nice. My wife - not a bit meat eater - had the trout with vegetables both times and thought it was very nicely cooked. I had a dish with two pork steaks plus a mound of gyros, rice and a lovely fresh salad which looked to accompany all dishes. Daughter had a huge plate of calamari. At lunchtime there is a special lunchtime menu which was great value. Service was very good - we were just sorry they are closed on Tuesdays as we would probably had gone again. Went here with my girlfriend. Very friendly greetings and service by the staff and the beer and dishes came quickly! We and also other people had lots of annoyance by wasps which ruined our dinner a bit but let’s be fair, it’s not their fault..:)...The gyros and chicken was really good, bifteki was way too dry on both plates. Athmosphere was okay but we really didn’t like the guy showing up with an accordeon playing next to our ear.. but maybe others do :pMore

Visited here with our German friends. Food is lovely, the drinks are good. The service just keeps coming. Good job guys 👍🍺
