Great place downtown, that offers some healthy food and drinks with cozy atmosphere. They have a "weird" rule about service - certain hours it's self service at the counter, other times they serve you. Well, it kinda doesn't matter. We've been there multiple times and...even if it's table service time, nobody cares that you came in, sat down, have no menu, that you finished your drink, might want another one. And I'm not talking about the case when place is slammed and has one person as staff. No, here are always minimum 2 or more, but they just don't give a ... I'd like to leave a tip, because the drinks and food were delicious, but this is simple too much "I don't care approach" for me.More

We ordered a curry as well as a salad bowl. The food is very healthy and fresh with varied flavors - not your typical German food. It was a nice break for us. The chai tea latte was so sweet and rich, it was really...like a dessert. Also had a ginger tea which was so refereshing. It was not too crowded for us on a Friday afternoon, but had a steady business. Had a little trouble deciphering the menu, but the young woman at the counter patiently translated the dishes and recommended the bestsellers. Two thumbs up if you're into healthy food reasonably priced.More

I liked the mischbar when I was still outside already. You can order mainly salads (5,90-7,80 Euro for small salads and 7,70-9,60 Euro for large ones) or bowls (7,50-8,50 Euro). In addition, they offer fresh juices and smoothies (small 2,90 - large 4,20). I ordered...an Italian bowl which had from my prospective to much corn from the tin and the pasta was still a bit to hard but in general it was good value. The smoothie with orange, pinapple and lime is just great. In total I had to pay 11,10 Euro. The waitress didn't really looked satisfied by receiving 12 Euro. And the service wasn't especially friendly before. They offer free WiFi. Unfortunately a rat disturbed the nice atmosphere. It came to the guestroom several times. My neighbours informed the waitress, but nothing happend.More

I went to Mischbar because I was attracted by the healthy juices and the nice atmosphere. I took at least 5 minutes to decide which one to choose and at the end I took one with Ginger, carrots and some other yummy stuff... I needed...energy for the day. Unfortunately I only grabbed the juice and a cookie to take away, but next time I’ll make me feel inspired by the salads and the soups.More

Looking for something to eat before our flight. Found this place by the river with an excellent range of food and beer. Very reasonably priced and lovely fresh food.

The restaurant is located in the middle of town right next to the river Pegnitz. While eating some of their very tasty good you can watch people walking over the bride close by or just enjoy the sun. In short: Even there is some waiting...required the food is worth the wait.More
