Best Italian I have ever been to. The food was out of this world and such high quality. Will definitely be going back. Franco Bruno was lovely and his staff/family were welcoming and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more. Fixed menu, so make sure you...ask for information in advance, however very accommodating as we had forgotten to mention a colleagues food requirement and Franco Bruno delivered an amazing alternative.More

We went to C’era una volta to have dinner with friends, since we had already been there some years ago and liked it. This time we had a 75€ 3 course meal which was really disappointing. The appetizer was pasta with tomato-lemon sauce that was...okaish, the meat and langostini were overcooked and the dessert was a small millefeuille that was just ok. Defitively not worth this price. We got a table next to the entrance door, which was left opened every time someone walked in or out and some of us had to stand up and close it, since it was freezing outside. When we politely told this to the waitress, she showed really bad attitude and told us that the other people were responsible for closing the door behind them. We are not coming back and are defitively not recommending it to anyone.More

Chef Franco Bruno does not fail to impress! His Italian food is as big, bold, and flavorful as his personality and presence! Pasta was perfectly cooked and sauced, choice of main's (meat or seafood) (in this case, filet with peppercorn brandy cream sauce or seafood...variety with garlic butter was again big, bold, and delicious. And then there's desert. This restaurant is also a family affair, with family serving and assisting. Fun when Chef visits the dining room, frequently, to interact with guests. Never thought I'd have amazing Italian food in Nuremberg, but there you have it. Don't miss this little gem!More

Two weeks ago we had a marvelous Saturday night dinner with Frank and Mario. Such wonderful food, hospitality and completely happy guests. Reservations well in advance are a must. Yes, there isn't a menu for the three courses so you need to trust your hosts....Il primo was so delicious that diners were using their bread to get the last bit of sauce after the pasta was gone. My wife's il secondo was a perfect lobster tail and my filet mignon was done just right. Room for dessert? Not really but of course. As if the food wasn't enough, the young couple across the aisle got engaged while we all clapped. Come prepared for a magical evening.More

This restaurant was highly rated on TripAdvisor so we decided to go there for dinner while we were in Nurnberg for one night on our way to Austria. Expectations were high based on the ratings, but I left disappointed. There was no menu card, you...have to eat what is served. Which was a surprise to me, but ok. They didn't mention there were in fact 2 menus, as we found out later, they only presented the most expensive one. They only accept cash ... so I was asked to walk to an ATM in order to pay for the dinner. And the food was nothing creative or special; this menu could have been served in any Italian restaurant. So for me there is no reason to put this restaurant high on any ranking.More

They know how to do and make great cuisine....Mindblower! During fair they have no card and you eat what you get, never been dissapointed. For sure we will come 2 times!More
