Bar was full when a friend and I arrived. We could choose between two tables to sit with others. We went for the one where still two places were left so there was space between us and the others. To start with we were asked...twice if we wanted to eat (no, we only wanted to have drinks). After 20min we were asked to switch to the other table with only 2 seats left - too close for us. We refused and were then asked how long we intended to stay and how much we would still consume after the drinks we were having. We didn't want to tell them - and where then thrown out of the bar. When paying I asked for the waiter's name and got as an answer: "It's none of your ....... business!!!".More

The cheese goulash and sausage goulash were very tasty and generous. Great beer too. Very recommended.

Went there spontaneously and got offered a seat at the bar. When the barkeeper realized, that we were only having a drink and not going to eat there he got extremely offensive and rude that I have no other choice but to give it a...bad review here. Definitely not going there again.More

Greeted with a warm welcome and the last free seat, at the bar, for some food and a beer. Goulash was the option with a choice of toppings and it was very tasty and very filling. Don’t even consider taking a starter unless you’ve not...eaten for a week. A great selection of beers and other drinks for a place so small Absolutely recommendedMore

We were lucky to get a table (under the pink dog) the was no menu as such, the waitress sat on a spare chair at our table and talked us through the options on offer that evening. I usually find that an informal menu like...is often the sign of really good food and we were not disappointed. Four people with different preferences were all satisfied. I got a great vegan meal and meat eaters loved their dinners too. They spoke good English - better than our German. It has a cozy atmosphere and we'd have gone back had we been staying longer.More

Had a booking for my birthday which worked fine. It took staff about 30mins to bring us the menu cards. We had to ask for them about 4 times. They were so unorganized it was hard not to notice. After ordering it took another 1.5hrs...until food was served. Actually they forgot 1 of the 3 main orders and did not even dare to apologize for it. I am surprised by the many outstanding reviews as the gulasch was nothing to cry home about for, just average to be honest. When I paid and told them service was slow, I was merely told off by saying "well that's how busy we get"..WOW, not coming back for sure and will spread the word on top of it.More

Definitely deserves its number 1 spot on tripadvisor! Very welcoming and fantastic beer, not to mention the best goulash in town. I will hopefully be back soon!

We had a great meal here with very friendly and attentive staff. Had a chat to the owner who told us how to make the prefect goulash. Good rustic very tasty food. The bacon and cabbage combo was excellent. Three things to consider- there is...little or no parking in the area; they were between card machines and so only took cash which came as a bit of a surprise; it is tucked away although the address is on a residential road which is easy to find the restaurant is behind the buildings on the road, and accessed down a side street. Definitely worth hunting out.More

Although it is difficult to find, once you do, you can enjoy a great variation of Gulasch and good beer.

This place is outside of the main part of the city, down a residential street, hard to find. However, the food is excellent (variations of goulash only), beer choices very good and ambiance is like a friendly, rustic tavern. Prices are very reasonable.
