I don't eat meat, but hear the weiner schnitzel is very good compared to many other places. There is a good selection of beer and decent selection of wine. The service was pretty good, but they could work on that. I preferred the ambiance to the food. Desserts were very good, but a bit overpriced. There is a cute courtyard... More

Great Bavarian food in a quieter atmosphere than similar places. I had the roast duck and it was absolutely excellent. Service was not the best, but there was no wait for a table and the food and atmosphere had me sold. I would definitely recommend this place for a taste of Bavarian food at a reasonable price.

Very traditional place in the city center. My first choice to enjoy heavy Bavarian traditional meals such as "Schweinshaxe" or "Leberkäs" The service matches the style of the meal and don't forget drinking at least a few Franziskaner beers

We went there after we have booked a table from the Hotel, we were accommodated at the beer garden. It was very cold and the heaters were not working it was -14 outside. The waiter just bring the first order and drinks and he does not show at our table anymore. After only 40 minutes we decided to go, when... More

The pancake soup was so bland it was virtually tasteless. The roast pork, served with dumplings and salad, was very dry and uninteresting. The only good course was the fruit dessert.

Dear guest, it is unsatisfying for us to see that you did not like your pancake soup. Did you request for change? We usually try to make the stay of our guests as positive as possible. We simply stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around. We had lunch at Zum Franziskaner during our last w-end in Munchen. The place is centrally located and very big!. The service wasn't prompt but probably because it is Sunday and the place was really crowded ! The food was very good, especially Wiener Schnitzel and the price reasonable ! I think I would come here again. Highly recommended !!

Very disappointed to have visited this place. We were hungry after the visit at the Residency and we saw the classic Bavarian flag so we chose this place. And there we foud no german waiters but only multi etnical people who don't match for nothing with the expectation of a good bavarian restaurant. Menu was very basic and prices very... More

Large Restaurant with several rooms, all of them have their own character. The staff is very friendly. The Food is excellent, be it a few sausages at lunch time or a bigger meal at dinner, all of it is very good.
