Not a place for Bavarians but rather for tourists. The food is not worth writing long. Service is made for fast food.

Good all round for options, standard portions, good service. Atmosphere more restaurant than bar but light wood and feel.

Service is very good even at very busy times and food is also very good beyond the typical bavarian cuisine as the chef seems to be creative.

Visited during the buzz of Xmas season. Thanks to a clever line system were given a seat without having to wander through the Beerhouse annoying other guests. Service quick and friendly, food hearty and portions big. Lots of meals on the menu, one can eat his way right through all Germany. House beer lives up to the high expectations.

Munich has a plethora of beer halls each with their own merits - whether that's the atmosphere, dining or the beer itself you'll find at least one that you'll love. Each hall is typically affiliated to a single brewery, usually one of the 'big six' - Lowenbrau, Paulaner, Hacker-Psorr, Spaten, Hofbrau and Augustiner - so don't expect a huge variety... More

We were getting tired of food that had been cooked hours ago and so tried the wiennerschnitchel with roast potatoes. Chose the small version and this was ample. Good clean flavour. Beer was fine and there is the added fun of the barman changing the barrel frequently!

We tried the Pschorr for a quick bite. Knowing many alternatives we still gave it a chance. Yes - it is touristic but what to some authors expect on Viktualienmarkt ? Same for pricing - dont expect a bargain in the center of Munich. BUT I found the food and atmosphere ok. The prices were still acceptable and it was... More

We had to leave the Hofbrauhouse because of the behavior of the waiter and we found this other one. I think it´s a bit more expensive than the previous one and not so nice, but the food was excellent and the service great. Worth to go there.

DAMN - this food was good! All of it! Pork Knuckle! Sausage! Sauerkraut! So good. Maybe it was better cause we were starving, but hot damn and a half, I would go back for sure!
