I booked a table at this restaurant for a Valentine's day dinner. The restaurant is directly in the lobby of the Louis hotel, with around 20 tables. The staff is really nice and professional. The menu has three parts, dishes (hot & cold), sushi and meat. They even have Kagashima beef. We went for a mixture of dishes and sushi.... More

Located on 1 floor in the great Louis hotel, we had a dinner together with 3 japanese business partners, and they all enjoyed the dinner as much as we did.

This is the place I would consider as Nobu in Munich. Fine food, wine and service. Very modern Deco with a view of Viktualian Markt. This is one of my favorite place in Munich. New Year's Eve has very nice venue.

I very rarely bother writing reviews for restaurants and it must be pretty disappointing or really good if I do. This one will not be a flattering one I am afraid. We have booked (for the 2nd time in 3 years) NYs at Emiko. Firstly I was surprised to see a +20e to the price from a couple of years... More

Emiko offers a large variety of Japanese Food of very good Quality. Having been there the first time makes it difficult to cover all of their offer. We felt that some more Finesse in the dishes we had was possible.

Across the street from Viktualenmarkt and not far from Marienplatz lies an unexpected gateway to Japan. Located in the pleasantly contemporary Hotel Louis, Restaurant Emiko was a very welcome, suprise discovery. The menu is authentically Japanese and offers a range of sushi and ala carte options. We chose the Kaiseki tasting menu with 8 small, well varied courses (of your... More

Nice decor. The sushi was nothing special at all. The other dishes were good (tuna tartar and beef tataki).

A really nice experience. The restaurant is not too large and very comfortable and of course, more important is that the food is very very tasty. I recommend the crospy calamari

It's not that the restaurant is bad, but it's just not good. Our waitress didn't know the menu well and couldn't answer simple questions about ingredients. I didn't place very high expectations on this place and was disappointed nevertheless. Sushi and rolls were good but not excellent and same goes for the deserts. Sake was served tepid, which I didn't... More

Description
EMIKO RESTAURANT
EMIKO takes you on a trip through Tokyo and combines the traditional, Japanese dining culture with influences of modern, international cuisine. It values the special culinary experiences it creates and pays great attention to the perfect and careful preparation of the food and the combination of aromas from different Asian countries.

The food is served in the middle of the table and then enjoyed by the "sharing principle", where everyone is able to try everything - eating together, talking, and feeling alive. This way food becomes a stimulating platform for experiencing this extraordinary way of dining. It developed in metropolises like London, New York, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Hong Kong or Mexico City. The chefs were trained in Tokyo and are therefore able to bring this dining culture to life.
