We actually only wanted to take a drink, but finally ended up with a bottle of red wine and some light food. We were really surprised by price-value of the wines.

Nice place and always safe when visiting Bayreuth on business. Polite service but not really feeling non-German speaking guests. Food is good, but not really special. Still revisited this place because of the good location (Terras at the back) and nice atmosphere
The place is pretty big, with a really nice terrace seating in the back. The food is truly average, I would expect much better for the price. The grilled prawns very overdone and absolutely tasteless, the salad was quite good. Service is horrible, probably underpaid...More
The Miamiam Glouglou is a must if you visit Bayreuth. Not even inside it is a nice and cosy place for having tea, coffee or lunch and dinner. Especially the terrace is a perfect place for leaving the world behind! And the quality of the...More
For the quality they offer they are a bit too expensive. Some of the dishes are very uninspired and tasteless and the drinks are very regular stuff. The service could use some improvement, on several occasions the waiters were very slow, confused or rude.
Appetizer carpaccio was very good but 45 minutes seems quite long wait. Staff forgot to ask for sides for the main course. Due to this reason the sides were probably hot and lamb rack was quite cold. Staff seemed little chaotic. With hot lamb rack...More

MMmm, Mmmmm, Glug, Glug is the English translation for those of you who wonder at the name of this restaurant. MMGG is on a back street in Bayreuth and worth seeking out if only for the Charolais steak and frites. There is a variety of...More
Seeking a change of cuisine during a week in Bayreuth, we stopped into the amusingly named Miamiam Glouglou and enjoyed a satisfying bistro meal that recalled similar experiences in France itself. Nice plump escargots, decent soupe de poisson, and two servings of steak-frites, one a...More
Not pretentious, good authentic French Food in a little alley with a nice shaded terrace. Friendly service. Much bigger restaurant inside.
