We had the pleasure of enjoying a 4-course meal and it was superb! Each course was perfectly matched in taste, creatively arranged and of the highest quality. A culinary experience that we can fully recommend! A big thank you to the chef Mr. Can Bazaar :)

We were four at the farmer's house for dinner yesterday. We are two couples and absolutely enjoyed the evening in the farm citizen. The beginning of the evening was a bit bumpy because some guests were standing in the narrow corridor to the restaurant at 19:00 at the same time and had to wait. This was the only blemish on the evening that ended very late. We all had an appetizer. Once an excellent tartare from the German beef fillet, twice the sensational and tasteful Can’s crustacean Bouillabaisse and a lettuce & wild herbs, which was also top in taste. For the main course we chose once, the very tasteful beef fillet “Rossini” with foie gras, not listed on the menu. It was mega delicious and a good choice. Once the Viennese schnitzel was ordered from the veal, excellent meat and mega good fries. Twice we had venison back, which was equally delicious. For dessert we had a very tasteful homemade salted caramel ice cream, a superior chocolate tart. The ambience, the service, the location are really unique. Strikingly the friendliness of the service staff, who despite understaffing, did not let any hassle and uncomfortableness arise. Can often came to our table and we had an entertaining evening and a lot of fun, just like with the other service ladies and gentlemen. An all-round successful evening with outstanding food and service. We will definitely come back.

I had the pleasure of visiting the charming restaurant “zum Ackerbürger ”, which offers a successful fusion of Swabian and French cuisine. The ambience is welcoming and cosy, with rustic wooden furniture and stylish decoration that perfectly captures the character of Swabian cuisine. The menu offers a tempting selection. As an appetizer I tried the “Cans crustacean bouillabaisse”, which was wonderfully spicy and aromatic. Afterwards I decided on the “fried scallops” – a delicious combination of tender scallops served in a light topinambur cream. The service was friendly and attentive. The feeling that I was in a traditional restaurant did not leave me until the end. The wine list offers a good selection of regional wines that complement the dishes perfectly. Overall, “zum Ackerbürger” is a wonderful place to enjoy the aromas of both cuisines. I can only highly recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit! And that will be tomorrow 😉

Our high expectations were not really met. The rust roast was touted as the best we ever had. Well, the mixed piece of meat with far too few onions and the fried potatoes floating in fat were unfortunately miles away. Very good appetizers. The price-performance ratio also fits with them. The service we found not particularly attentive, partly the waiting times were very long. Unfortunately, we had also caught a very uncomfortable table where we sat so far apart that a conversation could hardly be had.

We stayed here in May 24 and we loved it all around, great value for money. Yesterday I made a reservation without checking the menu again, which changed significantly after a change of operator in the summer. Nice ambience in the old building, the food was good, however, 40€ for a Viennese schnitzel with side salad and fries or cucumber salad are a bit overcoated, we will not come back. For new guests: Please ignore the reviews before August 24, it is a different location, form your own opinion if necessary and share it here.

My wife picked out this restaurant as a romantic dining experience for our weekend in Stuttgart. She picked out this place based on reviews and the charm of the inside decor. We were not let down as we enjoyed an absolutely perfect dining experience. We both started out with snails of some kind. Mine were diced in a cream of Porcini mushroom soup while hers were served in garlic butter. We loved both dishes with my wife thinking my soup was the best tasting soup she ever had. We both went with beef and pork tips for our main courses. Mine was served with a spicy Madagascar pepper sauce while my wife opted for a Gorgonzola sauce. Again, sheer perfection. We each enjoyed a glass of white and a glass of red from a local winery. What a magnificent meal worthy of a Michelin star!

Our expectations for the evening were even exceeded. A really great location, the ancient house from the 16th century. C. exudes a lot of charm, coupled with a super nice and very attentive waiter who cared for us lovingly. And as an icing on the cake we got to know the outstanding chef and owner of the restaurant together with his great wife and the evening, the food and everything around it was just fantastic. Thank you and a lovely greeting to the restaurant

The new Chef and new menu has some fusion Asian touches. The cooking is pricey but worth it, totally professional and imaginative. Great beef tatar and tuna tatar, amazing grilled quail, very nice steak. Solid wine list.

Greeting from the house- at our table misrepresentation. Strange. You had to climb a worn-out staircase to then sit down in a cramped room at the table. Move chairs so other guests could push past you. The menu hard to read, since smudged light. Low ceiling height - bad air. The food in my opinion is overpriced. Roast roast with sauce for 36€. Plus fried potatoes, which looked more like fried chips. Vegetable side dish misrepresentation.

Located in Stuttgart’s Bad Cannstatt district, 4 km from the historic centre, in a well-preserved 15th-century former farmers’ house. Very cozy dining room, with the old wooden beams. Market cuisine, based on the regional tradition, with very successful innovative touches. Short, but well selected wine list. A very good experience, among the best restaurants I have tried in Germany.

Four of us ate there. It is a very quaint restaurant with good food, a busy atmosphere and friendly service. The location alone is worth a visit. The dishes are very classic, and there are also some delicacies on the daily menu. We felt comfortable and had a lovely evening.

Fantastic .. typical german food as never had before ... service quality great ! Spaetzle, maultaschen, onion suppe, fat to spread on bread ... if i think about it .. still hungry !! Only an issue on top of all .. air-conditioned installation into wooden old structure .. really a fist in the eye ... I suggest to everybody that want to live an experience in a building with a lot of history inside walls and into the food.

Cannot recommend this place enough. The building and ambience is incredible. The food utterly excellent; best meal we ate during our 6 night stay in Stuttgart. Nice touches like bringing bread and dips out to start off with. Staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful if they tried, and even more remarkable considering how busy they were. Overall an excellent experience.

Apart from the old, narrow and worn staircase from the entrance up to the restaurant, everything makes a very clean and well-kept impression. Service is very friendly, helpful and always in a good mood. You can tell from the food that Mr. Bazaar has learned well in good houses. Nicely arranged, best quality of products and prepared to the point. Just a treat!! Keep going.
