Went here following the plethora of great reviews, didn't disappoint until we got the bill. €6.95 for bottle of still water as there's no tap water and charging full price for a half size kinder pasta took the gleam off big time

Got there for dinner alone and I was receive nicely. The service is really good, fast, polite and friendly. I order asparagus with salmon and soup...excellent! The soup was in the perfect temperature and was delicious. Salmon had a great texture and taste, the holandeses sauce with the typical white asparagus from Germany was done as it is suppose to... Dining as part of a large group didn't affect the quality of service we received, nor the quality of the food. Dining off a set menu I had the potato soup followed by the best rump steak I've had for years (if not ever), with creme brûlée for dessert, accompanied by a black beer which complemented the food very well.... An eye for detail, a menu that is more than a notch above the rest. Regional German food prepared with love for the dishes. From the scallops with beetroot to the impressive steak (Pflasterstein) and proper Schnitzel. The changing seasonal menu competes with the regular menu for attention. Both the jagtstube as the Wirthouse are decorated with the same attention... More

The food here varies from traditional (gourmet) German dishes to things like fresh made Italian Gnocchi. I've eaten here three times and it has been consistently great service and good food. The atmosphere is very special - it is warm and elegant, while still feeling comfortable.

My 4th visit to Heidelberg, my 4th dinner here, and for good reason. It's a favorite of my colleagues. The service is top notch, and the cuisine is excellent. It's traditional regional fare, beautifully prepared, in a traditional atmosphere. Someone always has the pumpkin soup, which varies by season. You can have goose right now, which I bypassed because the... More

We dined here during a weekend getaway. Very attractive place. Excellent service. Small but perfect wine assortment to compliment the upscale high quality German food selections. Dishes are regionally traditional but not limited to only the most well known. Exceptionally fresh ingredients. Beautiful presentation.

Description
In an early 18th-century town house on the square in front of the Old Bridge in Heidelberg, the Nepomuk inn welcomes its guests with family hospitality and good food.

On the menu of the traditional inn, regional specialties such as Swabian Onionrostbraten from the Argentinian Rinderrück with homemade Spätzle or beef roulade on homemade red cabbage and potato pots and much more. The varied evening menu shows the whole variety of the regional cuisine of Baden and the Palatinate.

The inviting ambience in the inn and the quaint hunting lodge provides an ideal setting to dine comfortably with friends and family or to celebrate one or the other festival.
